Potassium silicate has been used in field crops for years due to its positive effects on plant vigor, photosynthesis, transpiration and hardiness. This readily available form of silicate is absorbed and bound in the plant’s tissues within 24 hours of uptake.
As it is absorbed, the highly available form of silica creates a silicate matrix within the cell walls of your plants. This helps to physically increase cell wall structure while protecting against external stressors.
In extreme environments it is common for your plants to transpire excessively which can lead to a decrease in metabolic functions and stunted or no growth. Using Silica Blast can help decrease these common problems.

USAGE APPLICATION
For use in container gardens or soilless hydroponic applications.
For container gardens use between 2.5-5 ml per gallon of water apply at every watering or every other watering.. For Hydroponics mid size plants 2.5 ml per gallon and for mature plants 5 ml per gallon. Apply to reservoir every 5-7 days and adjust pH accordingly.

In 1992, his hobby bloomed into a career when he opened a store in Tempe, Arizona called “Sea of Green”, which catered to Hydrogardening enthusiasts and provided everything from hydroponics equipment to organic nutrient solutions. AN EXPERIMENTAL PLANT NUTRIENT. Treg’s expanding nutrient knowledge and sheer desire to provide customers with the best products on the market were driving factors in creating what would eventually become Botanicare. As part of an experimental new approach to address needs of local growers, he developed a unique organic plant supplement that he called Pure Blend. He literally brewed it in the back room of his store and gave Pure Blend to several of his favorite customers, asking them to give it a try. His customers were encouraged to return to the store with empty bottles to get refills – and they did in droves. After rave reviews he bottled it with the name Pure Blend Original and began to sell it. As demand for Pure Blend grew retailers began to contact Treg to see if they could order Pure Blend for their stores. Encouraged by the success of Pure Blend, he developed an additional product line called Pure Blend Pro. By 1996 Sea of Green opened two additional stores in Arizona and the success of the Pure Blend line inspired Bradley to focus his efforts solely on developing new products.
